Wildland Firefighter Hiring
The Forest Service Intermountain Region (Southern Idaho, Nevada, Utah, parts of Wyoming and California) is implementing a centralized wildland firefighter hiring process. This is an on going event that will happen twice a year. It will take place for two weeks in the spring and two weeks in the fall. During this time all vacant GS4-GS9 wildland firefighting positions will be filled.
